Somebody looked at pink howlite, dyed it, and sold it under this name. Howlite already comes with its own grey webbing, so the trick works.

The real one started as manganese mud on a seafloor and got cooked pink by burial. It cannot be rushed and it cannot be made.

Aries, you forgive fast so you never have to stay in the part where you were hurt.

You won something young. A race, a prize, a teacher saying you were the best in the room, and it landed hard.

So anything that takes years without a scoreboard feels like losing. You go looking for the next start. Nobody ever showed you what finishing feels like from the inside.

Look at the black lines running through the pink. Those are cracks that opened as the stone weathered, and a dark mineral filled every one.

The webbing is not damage. It is the repair, and it is the reason the stone still holds together.

The shop sells it as a heart stone. It is a metamorphic rock with unusual colouring, and the black webbing only arrived later, when it cracked.

Gemini, you can talk about the black lines for an hour without once saying that they hurt.

Somewhere around thirteen you found out that being interesting protects you. A story got you through a bad lunch hour and it kept working.

Now you talk about hard things in a way that makes them sound like anecdotes. The listening face across from you relaxes. That is the point, and it is also why nobody has ever helped.

Try telling one badly.

You handled the admin and drove and remembered every appointment. It was real help. It was also somewhere to put the fear.

Turn it over under a lamp. The pink is not even anywhere, and black seams run across it like a map of where it gave way.

Those seams are stronger than the pink around them. Whatever broke it is now the part that holds.

Take the romance off it and this is a manganese silicate. A hard pink rock, cooked out of ancient mud, veined with oxide.

The lore calls that black webbing healed scarring. The mineralogy says roughly the same thing in colder words, which almost never happens.

Scorpio, every crack in you got filled with something dark and hard, and it holds.

It came from someone who benefited from you being smaller. Maybe a partner who found your questions tiring, maybe a parent who could not hold what you brought home.

You did not fight it. You went quiet and got competent. Now you decide in advance which parts of a feeling are safe to hand over.

The editing is the tiring part, not the feeling.

It takes water, soap and years in a pocket. It is hard enough that a knife slides off it.

Left in a bright window it browns, slowly, and does not come back. The only warning it needs is the one nobody gives.

The weight is why the colour is there.

Pink marble gets dyed and sold as this. So does howlite, and both come out too even, with no real black seams in them.

Genuine rhodonite looks unfair by comparison. The pink is patchy and the cracks are obvious, and that is exactly how you know.

Aquarius, the patchy honest version of you is the real one and you keep apologising for it.

You learned to watch from slightly outside before you had words for it. Somebody in your house was unpredictable, so reading them became a survival skill.

Now every relationship gets analysed while it is still happening. You can tell a friend exactly what is going on with you, in order. You are nowhere near it.

Understanding is not the same as being in the room.

Put it in your palm and look at the black lines. Each one is a crack that opened while the stone weathered, then filled and set hard.

It is heavier than it looks and harder than it looks. Sun is the one thing it cannot take, and the pink browns off in a bright room.

Pisces, the dark lines in you are repairs, and you have spent years hoping nobody looks closely.
