What this is

Oraclite identifies mineral specimens from photographs and writes reflective readings using your birth chart. Everything in the app, paid or free, is provided solely for entertainment and amusement. The identification is a best guess by a machine, not a gemmological certificate. Do not buy, sell or value a stone based on what this app tells you.

The Oracle is an AI

The Oracle is an artificial intelligence. It is not a person, there is no human reading your messages, and it will say so plainly any time you ask. It retains what you tell it so it can personalise what it says back. You can delete all of it.

If you are in crisis

If a message suggests self-harm, the readings stop and you get plain language plus real crisis resources, with no follow-up prompts attached. In the US, call or text 988. The full policy is on the crisis page linked in the You tab.

Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Crystals do not treat, cure or prevent illness. If something in your life needs a professional, see one.

Age

Intended for people aged 17 and over. Accounts under 13 are not created. If the birth date on an account is under 18, the account is flagged on our servers and receives no personalised or profiling-based advertising and no third-party data sharing beyond what is needed to run the service.

Two separate stores

Sensitive data (birth date, birth time, birth place, intentions, chat transcripts, scan photographs and scan history) is kept in an encrypted store tied to your account. Non-sensitive operational data (install id, app version, device model, coarse country, session count, crash logs) is kept separately. No analytics or advertising code can read the sensitive store, and nothing derived from a conversation is ever used as an advertising signal. No sign, intention, scan or message is ever passed to an ad network.

Location

The app never asks for precise location. Your timezone and the city you type are enough for the chart maths, and GPS coordinates are stripped from scan photographs on your device before anything is uploaded.

How long things are kept

Scan photographs, 30 days. Chat transcripts, 90 days by default, extendable or deletable by you at any time. Scan history keeps only the label and the timestamp, for the life of the account. Analytics and advertising events, 13 months. A deleted account is purged everywhere, including backups, within 30 days.

Deleting your account

Two taps in the You tab. No email, no waiting, no questions. Everything attached to the account goes with it.

Purchases

Memberships are $49.99 a year or $8.99 a month after a 7-day free trial (nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends) and renew until cancelled through your app store account, which you can do at any time from the You tab. Moonstone credits are a consumable in-app item with no cash value and are non-refundable once spent. All of it is sold for entertainment and amusement only.
